About the Journal

Kosova Anthropologica is a diamond open access double blind peer-reviewed annual academic journal of the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”. The aim of the journal is to advance anthropological knowledge of Kosova and the region. The journal is an open forum for scholars, mainly in the field of cultural/social anthropology, archaeology, and linguistic anthropology. It is addressed to national and international scholarly audiences interested in the anthropological study of culture, society and lifeworlds, focusing in Kosova and the region. 

Kosova Anthropologica will publish papers in both languages, Albanian and English. All published papers must be of highest standards of academic publication. Kosova Anthropologica is open to contributions from researchers interested to publish on above topics and includes studies focused on empirically oriented anthropological analysis of specific themes, but it publishes work which is also theoretically oriented and book, film, documentary and other visual media reviews.
